8 sleeper unit

LAKE VIEW is a luxury 4 bedroom, 8 sleeper house and is in a class of its own. The unit has breathtaking views, is situated a mere 15meters from the waters edge of the top trout dam and has its own private jetty for fly fishing. The unit has four bedrooms and sleep a total of eight guests.

6 Sleeper units

OTTERS COVE, MISTY WATERS and WEAVERS NEST are beautiful private units, each with a phenominal view of the large dam. Each unit has 3 bedrooms and sleeps a total of 6 guests. On the patio of each unit is a built in braai and outside dining area. The units also have a lovely stone boma each for camp fires.

4 sleeper unit

KINGFISHER is the the smaller 2 bedroom cottage that sleeps a total of 4 guests. This unit has an exceptional view of the large 9 hectare dam, and is situated approximately 30 meters from the water's edge. The unit has a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, patio and braai facilities.

All the units on Blue Crane Farm are equipped with a Morso fireplace in the lounge areas, and all bedrooms are equipped with oil heaters. The DSTV runs on the commercial bouquet with offers Mnet, most movie channels and sport. We have also activated channel 144 (Kynet) and 307(Nick jnr for the kids). All the units have phenomenal views and are all waterfacing.

All the units are a comfortable walking distance apart (between 50 - 100 meters from each other). Each unit is water facing and has a beautiful view of the large 9 hectare dam. It is ideal for any size booking - from the smaller group that only requires one house, or a big group that requires more than one house.
